The Process of therapy begins with the consultation.
The 30 minute FREE consultation is a chance for us to connect over the phone. You may ask any questions or concerns you have prior to therapy. I will also ask a few questions to make sure I am a good fit for your unique problem.
First session
The first session is easy. We spend time just discussing the unique situation that brought you to seek therapy. The purpose of the session is to build comfort in the process. At the end, if there is time, we will set goals for therapy.
The logistics
My average client meets with me bimonthly for 3 to 6 months depending on goals and situation. I schedule 50 minutes for every session. We will evaluate together when you met your goals for therapy and create a discontinuation plan.
