Family Conflict and Complex Relationships
Helping individuals create an maintain healthy boundaries with loved ones
My family conflict specialty began as an intern, spending a year at Memorial Hermann Prevention and Recovery center. My role was to provide support to families, helping them navigate the complexities of their family member's mental illness and substance misuse. My work has since expanded to any individual or couples concerned about unhealthy family boundaries for individuals dealing with a mental health diagnosis such as anxiety, depression, or personality disorder.
I specialize in the education of building healthy family boundaries. I also specialize in helping individuals reduce stress, build boundaries, and navigate the complexities of loving someone struggling with poor mental health or substance abuse. I also help young adults struggling to create individual new normal with over involved or enmeshed parents
